Jaime Jarrett (they/he) is a Philadelphia/New York based composer, playwright, and theatre maker with a mission to tell honest and imaginative trans and queer stories through music, magic, and science fiction.

His works include Wonder Boy (American Musical Theatre Project, NAMT 35th Annual New Musicals Festival, 5th Avenue Theatre, Musical Theatre Factory), Dr. Ava and the Heartache Machine (Camp Ballibay for the Fine and Performing Arts), Normativity (The Polyphone Festival, NYMF), and (You Can't) Outrun the Monster (developed with Fresh Ground Pepper and The Ucross Foundation). Jaime is the recipient of New York Musical Festival’s “Outstanding Emerging Artist Award” as well as the Ira Brind School of Theatre Arts’ “Excellence in Playwriting Award.” Jaime is also a proud member of the inaugural Makers Co-Hort at Musical Theatre Factory, Fresh Ground Pepper's 2021 Playground Playgroup, and the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop.
